Meet the Board!!The 2025 Board of Directors of JCI Barbados welcomes you!
Members of the JCI Barbados Board of Directors serve our organization for a term of one administrative year. They lead positive change under their respective portfolios of President, Vice President, General Legal Counsel, Treasurer, and Secretary General. The Board is nominated for these positions and the members of JCI Barbados elect them at our Annual General Meeting. |
Sheldon Marshall President As President, Devon monitors the Chapter's affairs and leads the 2025 Board of Directors in fulfilling their key deliverables. As head of the Local Organization, he acts as the National Councillor to JCI West Indies. His theme for 2025 is, "An Opportunity to Serve" |
Devon Parris Legal Counsel/Immediate Past President As the second in command, Devon provides guidance to the incumbent President and the 2025 Board of Directors, ensuring that all activities are aligned to the mission and vision of the Chapter. His role serves to attest that JCI Barbados’ meetings are in accordance with the Constitution for the administrative year and maintain legality at all times. |
Rochelle Walrond-Cox Executive vice president Rochelle serves as the right arm of the President learning the office in preparation for her year to lead. She also helps the Vice Presidents plan their own programs. EVP Rochelle also overseas the projects ensuring that each chairperson is trained and each committee is well staffed and well prepared to execute their initiatives. 
Matthew Cyrus TREASURER Matthew plays an integral role in maintaining the financial viability and integrity of the Chapter’s finances. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial transactions of JCI Barbados and prepares the 2025 Budget. Furthermore, his role seeks to capitalize on fundraising and investment opportunities and offer any financial advice to help the Chapter succeed from strategy through execution. |
Lyn-Marie Christian VICE PRESIDENT, internal AFFAIRS and membership growth Lyn-Marie is tasked with reigniting the passion of our members through relevant training and social activities. She is also responsible for growing our membership base and in investigating development opportunities and benefits for membership. 
Amanda Edwards Secretary general Amanda is charged with the task of providing timely minutes for all meetings as mandated by our Constitution. She will also work closely with the President and Board to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our business meetings, and with project committee secretaries to ensure the same for their meetings. |
