In collaboration with the Barbados Council for the Disabled, (“BCD”) the Special Day for Special Children event is a yearly initiative undertaken by JCI Barbados. It comprises of a fun day where children with special needs get the opportunity to engage in fun-filled activities in a friendly environment. This event is free of cost to children with disabilities.
This annual flagship project continues to soar, as possibly the biggest event of its nature in Barbados.

- To produce a day of fun-filled activities for the differently-able children in an environment where they can experience a true sense of appreciation;
- To aid in the personal and professional development of disabled persons;
- To offer small business owners within the disabled community the opportunity to showcase their products and services at the Fun Day.
